Yes. I know. You saw the title and thought "Oh no, not another one!" But Insomnia seems to be the title of choice for these journal type posts (and in my defense, I haven't posted an Insomnia since March), and to be completely accurate, I can't sleep, but not for the usual reason - stay up so late that by the time I decide to go to bed I'm no longer tired.
Nope, tonight I'm hyper. I had thought that I'd already had my day of hyperactiveness this year - I've managed to block out most of the memory, but I'm inclined to think it was a Thursday - but apparently this year is a bit different. And this year, or rather, this time, it was diet related.
Last night I had too much sugar at the all you can eat Chinese buffet over by WalMart as well as too much yellow jello cello and red jello viola, and I didn't get nearly enough sleep. Pictures will be posted.
Today we all (excluding Her Nonnieness, of course) went up to went up to visit grandparents and sundry cousins while Mom went to a high school reunion thingy. Right now I'm sitting on a couch, listening to Lily, my iPod (for the two of you that didn't know about my habit of naming inanimate objects), and writing this with a black ink Bic pen on one of the yellow notepads I bought yesterday. I'll type this out when we get home tomorrow (provided I can make out my handwriting) and post it so you lucky people can read it. It's currently 11:54 pm on Saturday the Twenty Eighth of June. I will be seventeen in two months, four weeks and three days, give or take a couple hours.
So, as I was saying (or ... whatever), I'm hyper. I think the sugar is starting to wear off, but then again, I thought that after the two and a half hour car ride up here, but alas, I was wrong. Now I'm just hoping that I won't wake up in a state of hyperactivity.
Oh look, it has been tomorrow - or today - for three minutes. Alright, what else do I want to say? Oh, yes. Some of you may remember me commenting on the fact that I am only half of the people that aren't either at camp, waiting for camp to start or have already been to camp this summer. Today I realized that, had I gone through Driver's Ed last summer like I was supposed to, I would have probably gone to camp this summer, leaving Elizabeth by herself in the non-camp group, but she doesn't even care. Gah.
I'm tired now. Goodnight.
Cheers,
McKe
Oh, and to Anonymous (not you, the one who left the Star Wars for the next quote comment):
We are not amused.
Cheers,
McKenna
I left this in a completely unedited form (except for this one sentence I forgot to finish), just so you could see how insane I was last night. I'm much saner now. Maybe. Ta.

Uh huh, sure you're sane now. And where is the star wars comment? And who is we? You know, I don't like star wars, so don't even bother telling me where the comment is, cause I probably won't "get it". Anyhow, John was watching Star wars last night but I watched Legally Blonde. It was funny. Or maybe I was just in a giggly mood. It's Liz's fault...she wrote "fat camp!" on my bullitin for Church yesterday. Hmm...I'm being rather chattery, I should just go say all this stuff on my blog.
The Star Wars comment is on Movie Quote #3, which you should know anyway because you've commented on that as well.
And yes, maybe you should.

You would think that McKenna would be the one in the family who never gets hyper....but it's me.
Although, Mckenna's hyperness is equal to Shannon on a regular day. And don't even ask me to describe Shannon's hyperness.
Will you please?
Since you like naming your inanimate objects, what is the name of your black ink Bic pen and yellow notepad?
That would be Benny and Leo :P
